These groups provide a supportive environment where teens can learn and practice essential skills such as hygiene, initiating and maintaining conversations, and speaking up in small group settings. They also focus on making and maintaining friendships, understanding sarcasm, and navigating social events like get-togethers. Personal space and boundaries are emphasized, helping teens learn to protect their own and respect others’.
